How do I copy and edit a test or build my own?
Create a new test by copying an old test :
- Navigate to the Tests area
- Search for a test, learn more here
- Click on the test's name
- Click on the "Copy Test" button

- Rearrange items by dragging and dropping questions
- Click the link to add an item, passage or writing prompt

- To delete an item, click the trash can icon to the right of the question
Create a brand new test:
- Navigate to the Tests area
- Click the "Create a new test" to open a blank test template

- Fill out available fields with as much detail as possible

- Click the link to add an item, passage or writing prompt

- Use the Find field or Search box to find a question
- Click the title of the question to add it to your test

- Add a STOP entry by clicking the stop link
- Rearrange items by dragging and dropping questions
To create a dummy test with only answers and state standards :
- Navigate to the Tests area
- Click the "Create a new test" to open a blank test template

- Fill out available fields with as much detail as possible

- Navigate back to the Tests area
- Download a .csv file of the test you just created by clicking on the "Download answer keys" button.
- For a 10 question test, a file with the following headers will be downloaded:
id, block, name, subject, grade, author, admin_state, admin_date, passing, commended, pattern, A1, C1, A2, C2, A3, C3, A4, C4, A5, C5, A6 , C6, A7, C7, A8, C8, A9, C9, A10, C10
- In the field below the A1 header should be the answer for question one, In the filed below C1 should be the state standard code for question one, etc.
- Once your file is created, navigate to your Profile page
- Save your file as a .CSV and rename with a .KEY extension and upload
To share your test with others:
- Click the sharing buttons to reflect how you want to share
